Just eight years old and the youngest of five siblings, Emily's childhood consists mainly of a violently abusive home life. Her father is an abusive alcoholic who takes all his anger and frustrations out on her on a regular basis. Anything she does sets him off, even things that aren't her fault.

Emily's childhood has become a very cold environment where she often feels confused, alone and isolated. With nowhere to go for support or guidance, what will become of her if the abuse continues?
